Is it Tuesday yet.....cos I don't want it to be.

So, as I have bored you to death with it, you'll know I start my new job on Tuesday.

My car stripping and fixing thing. And now I'm petrified. The big box of tools I bought is losing its ability to make me feel qualified. I have no idea what I'm doing. I have to dismantle a 27k merc on Tuesday!! I'd struggle to dismantle a 27p kinder egg......On a good day. I didn't get the job under false pretences though. I told blokey who interviewed me that I'm not time served. I told him I was self taught. And I told him I have...You'll like this...'a natural aptitude toward this kind of thing'. Who starts of a sentence with 'natural aptitude..' and then rounds it off with'..this kind of thing.' What an oxymoron of vocal intelligence ( ooooh, how clever ). The only thing I have an aptitude for is being a dumb ass. I'm gonna roll up to their garage on Tuesday with my tools.....Non of which have even seen a car by the way, and then be left to my own devices. I'll break something, I bet ya.

But this guy knows I'm not a pro. He knows my background, but he seemed to like my attitude toward a new challenge. He liked me and gave me the job there and then, so maybe all my worrying is unnecessary. Maybe I'll be brilliant and work fast and effectively.

Or maybe that Merc is in trouble........Now, where 's the job centre...just in case.
