Allow me to fill you in......
Right.
I thought i twas time for an update because someone was good enough to email me last night and tell me off for being unemployable. You know who you are.
Thats just the thing, i'm not. Right now it's 8.30 and i'm sat at my desk working away, or at least i will be when i've finished this. Thankfully i got the job that i mentioned in my last post so i now work for Mercedes Benz. Swish eh? It's not quite as fancy as it sounds though. For the first three weeks i have to sit in a little office in the back and cost jobs so that when they do let me loose on the front counter i'll actually know what i'm doing. Kinda. I might not though, i am a little dim from time to time after all.
I've gotta say, i do like it here. It's a tidy operation and everyone seems to have a clue as to why they are here. Slightly different from my previous 'next job'. At the last truck place i had to ask 35 people where the gents was, trying to find out how to work Kerridge was simply never going to happen.
So thats where i'm up to for the time being. I say time being because the magazine thing is still simmering away on a back burner. Their junior writer has been promoted you see, so now there is a gap. Yay! I'm in the running...obviously..but i still have to be interviewed by the suits. I'll keep you informed.
Anyway, i have to cost up a service on a 2003 Mercedes Benz 2528L.....
