I, as I’m sure you’ve read, am now published. This is a good, GOOD thing.
On a different note…
Last month I applied for a job as a writer for the countries biggest classic car magazine. Foolishly. I think I was so excited to see the position that I applied within about 3 seconds flat, without giving much thought to the fact that technically a goldfish is as qualified as me in terms of journalism. Not wise, not wise at all….or at least that what I thought.
Turns out my application was well received, so well received in fact that it got me an interview! A bloody interview! It’s still not sunk in yet, this is evidence of one of my plans coming together. That never happens. I normally think up some wild idea, annoy some people with it, have a half arsed go at it and the find something new. This whole writing thing seems to be sticking though…maybe I’ll actually succeed.
So, watch this space. On Monday…I might be a writer for real.
